Drum Chipper Knife Rotor
Knife drum is the major important parts of the drum chipper. It consists of drum, knives, knife clamp knife seat and main shaft. Drum chipper can make wood chips of different size by adopting different quantity of knives on the drum. The quantity of knife is from 2 pcs to 12 pcs. With different quantity of knives, the wood chips length are standard designed from 10mm to 50mm. In a reasonable scope, other size of chips could be customized as user's requirement.
In order to process raw materials which has nails or bolts inside, the drum chipper can be equipped with hammer blade rotor. The hammer blade can cut off nails and small bolts in the waste furniture, waste plywood, pallet and other waste wooden materials.
For safely and steady runing, dynamic balancing is one of the basic working procedures for each of our knife rotor or hammer blade rotor before it is assembled into the drum chipper.
